Boston's Tragic Molasses Incident of '19
On a blustery morning in 1919, disaster struck Boston. A massive holding filled with sticky, sweet molasses gave way sending a torrent of the thick liquid rushing through the streets. The impact was catastrophic, smashing buildings and burying people in a sticky soup. Scores of people were lost their lives, and many more were wounded. The city fa
